Projection

Q: I have noticed that when I am around people whom I think to be ‘posh’ and well educated I feel flustered. I even notice myself speak and act differently which I do not like, I feel fake doing this. Why does this affect me so much and how can I remain true to myself?

A: What we see in another we have projected what we think we are.  When you judge someone you will always feel fake and anxious.  When you see something positive in another, but do not believe it to be in yourself then you will know that you have suppressed this gift out of guilt at not feeling good enough.

Today appreciate the person who inspires you with their gift, the one you have projected your fears on to.. Appreciate that they are showing you a part of yourself that you have not accepted as yet.  Appreciation moves you through your judgement and allows you to really see what you believe about yourself. When you accept the truth about who you really are you can then remain true to your spirit.
